Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (VFSTR) is a Deemed to be University at Vadlamudi near Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Its journey began in 1997 with Vignan Engineering College at Vadlamudi, and the university itself was established in 2008. The campus is spread over 42 acres.
The university holds a NAAC A+ grade, has NBA accredited programs and ABET accreditation for five programs (CSE, EEE, ECE, Mechanical Engineering and Biotechnology). It is recognised by UGC, AICTE and the Pharmacy Council of India, and was ranked 72nd in the NIRF University rankings in 2024.
VFSTR has 12,000+ students and 835+ faculty members. UG admission is through V-SAT, AP / TS EAMCET, JEE Main / Advanced and Intermediate scores, with merit scholarships of up to 75% on tuition fee for 25% of the seats in each programme.
