About Usha Martin University
Usha Martin University was established in 2012 under the Usha Martin University Jharkhand Act. Its campus is at Village Narayansoso, Angara, on the Ranchi-Purulia Highway in Ranchi.
The university is recognised by the UGC under Section 2(f) and was accredited NAAC A in its first cycle, with a CGPA of 3.17. It is a member of the AIU, and its programs are approved by AICTE (engineering diplomas), PCI, BCI, the Jharkhand State Council of Physiotherapy and the State Nursing Council.
UMU offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. programs in engineering, management, computer applications, pharmacy, law, nursing, paramedical sciences, agriculture, commerce, journalism and humanities. It has 4,568+ students.
