IIMT University was formed in 2016 under the IIMT University Act (UP Act 32 of 2016) and is located on Mawana Road, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Its parent, the IIMT Group of Colleges, Meerut, started in 1994. The campus is spread over 50 acres.
The university holds a NAAC A grade and is recognised by the UGC under Sections 2(f) and 12B. It states approvals from AICTE, BCI, PCI, COA and NCTE for its programs, and holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications.
IIMT University has 30,000+ current students and offers 140+ programs across engineering, computer applications, management, commerce, law, pharmacy, nursing, allied health, agriculture, hotel management, journalism and sciences.
