Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI) is run by the Baba Farid Vidyak Society, Bathinda, registered in 1994 and led by Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal. Its campus is on Muktsar Road, Bathinda, Punjab. Baba Farid College and Baba Farid College of Education were set up in 2005, and Baba Farid College of Engineering & Technology (BFCET) and Baba Farid College of Management & Technology in 2008.
The group has schools of Engineering, Sciences, Agriculture, Business Studies, Computer Applications, Humanities, Education, Law and Pharmacy. BFCET is affiliated to Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, and is AICTE approved.
BFCET holds a NAAC A+ grade (Cycle 1, CGPA 3.26, valid from January 2024 to January 2029). The group reports rankings such as 1st among colleges of Punjab in the Green Institutional Rankings 2022.
