Apeejay Stya University was set up in 2010, realising the vision of its founder Dr. Stya Paul, and is part of the Apeejay Education group. Its campus is on the Sohna-Palwal Road in Sohna, Gurugram, Haryana.
The university is UGC recognised with 12(B) status and holds a NAAC A grade. It describes itself as India's first industry-centric technology and liberal arts university, and its ITEP B.A. B.Ed and B.Sc. B.Ed programmes carry NCTE recognition.
It runs 85+ programmes through ten schools: Engineering and Technology, Management Sciences, Journalism and Mass Communication, Design and Visual Arts, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biosciences, Legal Studies, Education, Behavioural Sciences, and Arts and Sciences. Its alumni network is 65,000 strong.
